Windows XP bottle
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Can be a bit slow sometimes, especially with large polygons files.
The main problem with FormZ is the palettes support which is buggy in CrossOver since there are not independent windows. So it is necessary to reduce the work space to make visible all the time.
The materials palette cannot be moved elsewhere than its initial position, so it is necessary to size it to be able to move it. You can save your FormZ working space in a preference file (Go to the presences) and you will not have to make the settings any time to launch it. Some dialogs are not visible, click above them or move them and the text will be displayed correctly. You need to use Wine virtual desktop anyway to get this trick working. Anyway, it may work better under Linux because it is due to a bug in Apple X11, plus there is a native version of FormZ under Mac OS X.
Despite of this, works rather well.
