I have Flash8 working in win98 bottle and it works fine in IE6. In any case I did not use the trial version. It was installed automatically during my many recent installs as a required prerequisite package, sorry I do not remember during which install it was.

Go and read the Dreamweaver 8 Forum, It is the eact same as flash for the install, just remember FFF

Can anyone post some hints (what files, reg keys, etc) for this procedure?
I installed the Flash 8 demo under Windows, copied over the Program Files\Macromedia and Common Files\Macromedia directories, reg keys from HKCU, then applied the FFF crack/patch through WINE on the Linux box. Whenever I run Flash.exe, I get the splash screen, it cycles through some of the init stuff, then WINE stops and invokes the debugger.
I'm using XOver 5.0.0, the Flash 8 demo from Macromedia's site on FC4.
Thanks,
Sean
