FL Studio 10 Forum

I'm running FL Studio 10 on my Macbook Pro and my laptop/computer keyboard works just fine when I hit the letters to hear the kick, snare, hi hat etc. But when I un check "typing keyboard" from option settings. Go into Options, select midi settings. Under midi keyboard type, M Audio Axiom 49 doesn't exist. How do I get it installed and to play sounds? I'm thinking I will have to take the extra step in installing the driver for the Axiom via Crossover and put it in FL folder so it will recognize it. I have Oxygen 25, which is on FL's list of midi keyboards, but I really don't want to use it since I like to play more keys. Can a midi keyboard be used with FL Studio 10 on a Mac at all?

the list of devices in the fl studio midi settings are only those devices that fl studio ships with a midi setting preset for.
installing a driver via crossover will not work, it also wouldnt help under windows.
you must select the "generic" device in the midi settings. this should be enough to make it work. also enable "remote control" etc, for working with midi controllers on your keyboard (if any).
sometimes it is required to select a specific midi channel in the midi options, but only do so it wont work with the default options (with the generic device).
