FL Studio 10 stable, but some errors with 3rd party vst's

Hi, FL Studio 10 working great and stable.

Only hiccup I have so far is a few 3rd party vsts are not working, such as minimoog V, vallhalla effects, etc.
It installs perfect without errors, but when adding the plugins within FL Stuido, I get errors - can't load plugin.
Any ideas about this.

Cheers

treat VSTs as programs on their own. they basically are. sometimes its copy protection that breaks them, sometimes it could be a missing font, etc. it all depends on the vst. if you are on linux btw, you could also try vestige in lmms.

I figured it out. So far so good.

Some VSTs, some free ones ( .dll ) seem to work great. Just copy and paste into your VST folder.
Some free VSTs also cause some errors. But few and rare.

To install some paid VSTs like Minimoog, Native and others, make sure you install them, meaning run the installer for the VSTs and install into same Bottle as FL Studio.

In other words, Install FL Studio 10 into a bottle name like "FLStudio10"

Then,
Install the other VSTs that have installers, into the same bottle "FLStudio10"

Works perfect and seamless now! Well, when closing down FL, it usually asks if I want to save the file if I tweaked it. I just closes without asking for a save. So remember to make saves yourself.

No need for Bootcamp, no need for Windows OS!

Works Natively in Mac OS with crossover ! Great product !

Cool ... perhaps we should think about having C4 pages for some of those VST's
(and crossties to suit)... which would all install into this app's bottle (if
this app had it's own crosstie profile) ...

...on that front, is anyone intending to do a crosstie profile for FL 10 ? It seems
like a popular app, and might appreciate the exposure ... if anyone needs any help
doing that, or, wants to provide me with the install data required and I'll do it,
just post here either way ... I'm always looking for what I think may well be very
popular apps to hang crosstie profiles on =)

Cheers!

Yes it is a great App.

Would be great to get these 3rd party VST's working proper. Can't seem to use the syncro soft e licenser for minimoog, and errors with waves plugins.

Otherwise everything works quite stable.
