I dont get it to run, even with the newest version, how do you managed it?
Fireworks now runs under cx office v4. Its very slow though, and because of this is as nearly as un-useable as before when it didnt run. Weirdly enough the wine hq wine binaries run fireworks faster than cx office and good enough to use for the most part, so maybe the next release of cx office will implement what ever improvements wine hq has into there version of wine.
Crossover Office installs the whole Macromedia Studio when you install Dreamweaver MX, which includes Fireworks MX. It simply runs when I click on the icon, but has the problems I mentioned above. Just to make sure we are on the same page, I'm talking about Fireworks MX (v6.0) not the newer Fireworks MX 2004.
