Works almost perfectly til you try combat

I was able to load the game up just fine, initially my game would just freeze and eventually crash once I got to the first ifrit cutscene. Tutorial works I'm assuming because there is so much less to load.

The ifrit crashes led me to a steam resource where turning off antialiasing (spelling), turning TRAM (texture memory) to low. I pull 45+ frames on base Mac mini m2 on lowest settings but as soon as I attempt combat the game freezes. The music still plays, I haven't actually seen if it will continue to load.

I was running pretty much in crossover 22.1.1 patched with gptk

Dvkx ON
C enhancement ON
Esync ON

I wonder if it's like overwatch, where it takes 5~ minutes to let the shaders all load before you play, or if this is something that has to be individually looked at.

Same issue in the latest nightly release.

I'm new to crossover I don't really know how to get motion started on ffxv but the new one being ps5 exclusive made me want to replay this but the director's cut.

Thanks

Update, I properly updated gptk, now im in a VERY playable state. check out the notes I left for the game as well
