Gamepad Issues

Hi everyone, i'm kind of new to Linux , i have been using it for a month now on Debian Jessie.
I've been following the advices of Luis Garcia and Shawn Morrow, and there have been some trouble along the way but in the end, everything worked fine with the game.

Unfortunately, i love playing FFXIV with my gamepad ( i have a logitech f510 gamepad) and it seems like the sticks aren't usable at all in the game and the buttons are a little messed up.
I've read things about dinput being the problem, but in my case, i don't install the dinput DLL in the bottle since it makes the game crash.

So i would like to know if any have you have managed to use their gamepad properly in the game?

Try looking into using QJoyPad as an alternative.
There are rpm and deb packages around that you will find with enough search.

Aptitude may provide it as well, try it first.

This will just help you use your controller to map as mouse/keyboard functions though.
