Got it working but without crossover, all you need is here
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=28853

But for me framerate is too low and i have huge graphical glyches.
So i give this game a bronze rating.

I hope crossover will do something to make it better :)

Good work Ludo, you minds telling me your CPU/GPU and mem please? I will mess with it tonight following those instructions. I sure hope Codeweavers will try to get this to work.

i have 2500K @4500mhz, radeon 7950 @950mhz and 8go of pc12800

You could have better luck with nvidia maybe.

I have an I7-950 @ 3.8Ghz, with 6 gigs of ram and 2 480 in SLI. I will see if nvidia drivers have issues. Ludo whats the easiest way to insert those key's into the registry from the instructions provided? Thanks

With regular wine? just save the keys they specify into a file ending in .reg and run wine regedit my-file-name.reg, that'll add it to the registry. (not even certain the extension matters, but it's standard on windows.)

Check the tip I just wrote and report report any success or failure.

Eric you forgot the registry fixes.

Now i can play without graphical glyches (just an option to disable) but i have 10fps in medium (laptop) settings.
Under windows i can play on max settings.

Registry fixes? Do you mean enabling "Enable HDR rendering and improved overall graphics quality." and disabling "Disable rendering of objects when not visible. (Occlusion Culling)" in order to reduce the strange "flickering" effects from the environment and UI?

This tips are good too.
But on whine hq they modify the registry.
Maybe its not necessary ?

Add these keys to registry:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID{7D8AA343-6E63-4663-BE90-6B80F66540A3}]
@="VMR ImageSync"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID{7D8AA343-6E63-4663-BE90-6B80F66540A3}\InprocServer32]

@="C:\WINDOWS\system32\quartz.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Both"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID{99D54F63-1A69-41AE-AA4D-C976EB3F0713}]
@="VMR Allocator Presenter"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID{99D54F63-1A69-41AE-AA4D-C976EB3F0713}\InprocServer32]

@="C:\WINDOWS\system32\quartz.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Both"
You can save the above text to quartz.reg file and run wine regedit quartz.reg

And we need this fix too : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=23606 to valid the eula

Me i have 8-12 fps, its nearly unplayable :(

Ludo, I did not have to modify the registry after using winetricks, when viewing the registry extract it actually had each of these resemblances. Also, I have gotten anywhere from 14 - 48 fps, it runs decently for myself. There is a patch to wine that may help improve somewhat although I have not tried it myself.
