Hey there everyone,

I just recently downloaded the trial of Crossover Game, and was successfully able to install POL and FFXI with expansions. Now, my issue is actually NOT with POL like other users on here have been having... rather, my problems happens AFTER I select my character. The log "Select Character" screen is laggy (which from what I read, is normal), but as soon as the "Connecting to server" screen disappears, the screen stays black and doesn't actually let me into the game.

I've also noticed that Direct3D does NOT appear in my registry at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just reactivated my characters and would love to test this on my Mac so I can actually buy the full version of Crossover. :)

I have been having the same issue and have yet to find a fix, how did you get past it?

I'm sorry for the late response, but the way I fixed it was that I made CrossOver to run FFXI in Vista mode than XP. This fixed every issue I had for some odd reason. Hope this helps some!

I'm glad you got your issue fixed, but the stickied post at the top of the forum (not to mention the Tips and Tricks section) already states that you must run FFXI in a Vista bottle. Please check other threads before creating your own.
