Final Fantasy XI Forum

I am trying to follow the instructions for Final Fantasy install on the latest Crossover Games using the FFXI 2008 CD. I get to the FFXI Config and get no options except the help screens. When I look at the registry, I have a PlayOnline Folder, but no FinalFantasyXI folder. I have fully updated the game and PoL seems to work fine, but when I get to the game, it gives me a black screen and music. Am I looking in the wrong place for the registry? I don't see anything else related to Play Online or FFXI in the registry as I see it.

I am using a WinXP bottle.

You should see the folder under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > PlayOnline?? > SquareEnix

Replace the "??" with your version english = EN, european = EU
