There are at least two different versions of this game which should have different ratings.
1) The CD release of the game.
2) The steam version of the game.
I have installed the CD release of the game and it runs well (not crashing when you enter a battle, etc.) I would rate that as gold. I, more or less, followed the instructions in the forum for installation success.
From the forum posts, it appears that the steam version crashes at battles.
I have recently done the CD Install. The Steam Version crashes way too easily. I will write another comment describing how I got it to work, because there are some dlls that you need to install via winetricks to ensure that the CD version works.
Steam Version crashes when battle begins, and on some plays it crashes while I try to live the Balamb Garden at all.
