I got ff8 (steam version) to install via crossover first time and it runs perfectly.. until I leave Balamb garden and hit a battle. The second I do the game just completely locks up. Does anyone know of a fix?

Did anyone ever figure out how to get the battles/card games to work on FFVIII steam version? Mine crashes when I try to enter a card game or a battle.
If you are having this problem, you need to install Direct Music into your Steam bottle.
As in, add this:
https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=11714To your existing Steam bottle.
