Hi @ all,
has anyone a solution how to get this game running? A simple standard installation doesnt start up. I´ve used a Vista bottle for installation.
Maybe someone knows a workaround or soe thing like that.
Btw i am completely new to this whole Mac stuff...
I too am having trouble installing FF7 the re-release. I tried wine, winebottler and crossover and none seems to work. I keep getting the same error message:
cannot import dll:C:\users\crossover\Temp\is-1CQIB.tmp.isskin.dll
anyone know if FF7 2012 re-relase actually works on mac? if i doesn't and i'm desperate enough, i might go buy parallels or something similar and install it on windows in my mac... :(
any help much appreciated!
Install 'Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Restributable' in the bottle to get past the dll error.
Guys, I made everything right here, but every time I start the game, it asks for an activation code, and now I got the message that I've exceeded the activation limit. Someone had the same problem as me? Anyone know how to solve this?
I have the same issue as well, and no, there isn't much of a work around besides contacting the DRM company and asking them for an increase on the limit like they tell you to do when you receive that error. (Which I'm assuming is a pain in the ass.) But other wise, the Re-Release ran quite well until you run into that error. As for a fix, it'll probably be better to try to get the attention of a higher up. Sorry bout that.
The way I was able to continue playing is to revoke the key each time before closing the game. But what I really wanted was a permanent solution.
