web companion anyone?

I'm using suse 9.1 and crossoffice 3. The installer did not work, so I copied an installed filemaker 6.0 from the windows drive to the fakewindows directory.

Filemaker seems to run fine, but the web companion does not work, it reports a network error. Any idea what this could be?
