Excited to get this game working. Every time I open it via Steam it performs the "First Time Setup" - attempting to install "Microsoft Direct X for Windows" and ".NET Framework 4.0". Once the first time setup Steam window disappears, the game fails to launch.

I've attempted to install the most recent Direct X and .NET Frameworks via Crossover's CrossTies, but this doesn't appear to help any. Curious to know if it's a Steam issue - does the game work on OSX if you have the standalone version?

I've purchased the standalone version but it still crashes on startup. Using a Vista bottle gets you closer and then installing Visual C++ 2010 and .NET on your own gets rid of any error windows that popup, but the game just quits shortly after opening.

If I manage to get it working I'll let you know but it's not something I'm actively investigating.
