Delayed ingame sounds

Fallout NV runs jut fine, except for sounds like jumping, shooting, activating V.A.T.S. etc. These sounds appear few seconds late, which kinda sucks :(

That may be an issue due to a failure to install audio drivers. It’s a common issue with installing Bethesda Games.

Are you using the Steam or the GOG.com version?

You can try a method I have found, known as The Bethesda Audio Override. I have a blog article written out to guide you. There is another article for The Steam Version of this procedure.

The procedure gets key audio dependencies into the bottle that the GOG.com or Steam Installations fail to include during installation
