So you mean to tell me that after paying over $50 dollars there are still games that will not work? Seriously? If I pay money I expect it to work! Why pay money if I can't run GTA 5 or Fallout 4? I can get the free version of wine and only play some games! Why pay for it and still only be able to play some games? Does not make any sense does it? MAKE IT WORK OR NO BUYING! If I pay I expect it to just install and work! If it does not do that then no sale!
Ahmmm...wow...what language...one could think you are writing about a $200k car that doesn't run.
You do realise that 100% compatibility is just a dream...a nice one but still, just a dream. Do you realise how many games stopped working when Win 10 was released or other Windows versions in the past? Did you rant as much against Microsoft as you are ranting here?
As far as eg. Fallout 4 is concerned, it uses DirectX 11 and neither Wine nor Crossover work nicely with it yet. You did read that CrossOver is built on Wine, did you? Maybe you should go and talk to Bethesda to have them switch over to DirectX 9. Similar for GTA 5.
If those 2 are the only games you are interested in, I suggest you put all emulation software aside for the moment and wait another 1/2 year or so. At that time, go and read up whether they work within the CrossOver/Wine environment and, if they claim it works, try again.
What is your problem? Of course every game is not going to work.
