Tutorial Starts to work

Using a NOCD Patch, I got this game to actually enter the tutorial, but part of the event queue system seems to be affected by Crossover, as it just sits there when you (The Evil Genius) should be flying in via helicopter. The interface and navigation works, but without the event queue, the game doesn't proceed.

Entering the main game, it starts bringing up the interface and scenery (it's dimly visible) but freezes with a non-standard mouse cursor. I would guess again that some part of the event queue system is broken here as well.

It is possible to get this game running if you replace two .dll files in the windows/system32 folder in the bottle you have installed the game into. The two files that need to be replaced are quartz.dll and msvcrt.dll. You can find the native versions of these files on the internet.

The no-cd patch is still required but the other two problems you mention disappear.

Tested in version 7.1.1

Will Test and see If I can reproduce

Actually, even that far is not required if you use 7.1.2. It works right out of the box. There are some general stability issues, but that's noted on the Wine HQ page as well. It will be really cool once that get fixed.
