Under 8.1.4, there were any number of issues with models and textures not rendering on my i7 iMac.

Those appear to have been rectified in 8.2.0, which after some tweaking of in game settings (increase memory usage to "balanced"), everything now renders properly and the game appears playable.

Installed 8.2.0 this weekend after having trouble with 7.1.4. EQ crashes right after doing the patches with a client error. I have downloaded the hacked DLL and eqclient.ini file (which in the past fixed issues) from the messages below. Still no go.

Oh, and yes I did have EQ running successfully for a while on the same box, then my system crashed one day in the middle of a session and I have not been able to get it back. Even after doing a complete reinstall of COG and EQ.
