Well, I've sucessfully installed EQ2, clean install and moved my .txt files. Using Crossover version 7.1, and all the suggest comments in the previous 5 posts, if there were any. The game launches, patches, can load into character select screen. But, my mouse pointer disappears so can not do point and click, but however since its in window mode I can move the mouse outside of the window to figure out where I am and then try to slow move the mouse to the desired location.
But, it does make it difficult to travel or talk or do all the mouseness we do in the game. Did not even realize the amount of time we spend on that mouse.

Has anyone, figure out how to make the window frame capture the mouse pointer? Perfect Internatinal does the same thing with the mouse pointer. Switch out the usb mouses and still the same results.

Ok, take two..
I've done a clean install of EQ2 TSO using Linux Game CrossOver version 7.1. Patch complete, with no errors. DX9c is installed, able to launch the game using the patcher login with no problems, made the adjustments with the complex shaders. But, the mouse pointer disappears when you enter the windows mode. If you move the mouse outside of the windows it appears again. You can move the mouse to highlight an option and select but it makes it difficult and time consuming since you can't see where the mouse is within the window mode of the game.
I've tried from City of Heroes/Villians -compatiblemouse -1 option.. No, go..
