EQ2 locks up constantly

Hey everyone,

I recently installed EQ2 on my MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) 2.3GHz Core i9, 32GB RAM and AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB, and the game installed fine, but it locks up constantly. The bottle is a Windows 7 version, but I've not made any changes at all.

Any ideas?
