Working on Chrome OS?

Has anyone gotten this working on ChromeOS on a Pixelbook? It should work, but it seems like the DirectX 9c install isn't going correctly. It looks like the recipe tries to install DirectX Modern, and then when EQ2 Launcher runs, it tries to install a different DirectX again.

The eq2 launcher does install, I get really excited when I hear the theme music after clicking "play", but I get the directx render device cpp error before I zone in. Likely because I am trying to use the graphics for the first time.

Anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts on how to work around it?

It does not matter what is installed.... the installed for Everquest II will try to install DirectX again as it is programmed in to their installers. Bad practice but with the older game I guess that is to be expected. You should be able to quit out of it when it fails and continue the installation it should not block it for you.
