Existing installation of EQ2 suddenly stopped working

Since last week, my existing installation of Everquest II stopped working (Crossover 10.1, Ubuntu 10.10). The patcher (EQ2.exe) crashes with an error message, and the game itself (Everquest2.exe) fails silently.

The same installation keeps working as normal under Windows XP (I keep it on an NTFS partition). I've also got an old installation running under CrossOver 10.1 on my Ubuntu laptop, which also keeps working as normal.

Anyone had similar problems?
