The Version of This Game Sold on DMM Doesn't Work on Linux Due to Soft-Denchi Runtime DRM.

Think of this is as a PSA.

I bought this game from DMM, or FANZA GAMES. Most visual novels bought from this site require the installation of the Soft-Denchi runtime DRM to unlock it, however, CrossOver fails to register UCX.OCX when installing, and is unable to complete the installation as a result. This means that it is not possible to unlock the game on Linux in order to test it with CrossOver.

You're better off buying the physical edition, assuming that version doesn't have DRM that doesn't work with CrossOver. However, physical VNs have a lower incidence of DRM, and given that users of CrossOver from 2011 and before were apparently able to run the game, this bodes well.
