trouble with crossover 6.2

I've download the version of crossover and now eve no longer works... In fact, when I'm in space the game freeze and I can't do anything... Do I have to re-install all the game ?

Are you on a mac? Which graphics card do you have?

I'm on mac book pro 2.2 Ghz
Before crossover 6.2 everything was fine...

but now I can't play anymore...

I've re-installed all the game and crossover I can't play... The game start and I have the sound I see my ship in the space and then it all freeze... I really don't understand what's the problem...

Someone got an idea ?

(I'm on mac book pro 2.2)

Got since 6.2 the same problem.
Station works fine, warping in system seem t work fine, warping to a station in order to orbit or dock freezes the screen, but game seems to run on, as Sound works and docking message (voice) comes up as well, but the rest stopped working.
Clearing Cache and Settings helps only half of the times, for a limited period.
Didnt deactivate the sound again, doesnt look like the source of the problem.

I am running it on a 2.2 Ghz 15" MBP with 2 gig RAM, GF8600m GT.

P.S.: no EVE Voice running

So we have the same problem, now that I warp in deadspace when I log out, I allways warp to a station when I log in so I can't play.

But you're right the game seems to run on because when I moove the mouse even if I can't see it moove, I heard the sound when you touch button...

strange...

Try running the command "regedit" in the bottle which contains EVE Online. Navigate to the key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\AppDefaults\ExeFile.exe\Direct3D]. There's an item named "allow_apple_client_storage". Try experimenting with setting it to "disable" or, if that doesn't help, "enable".

Unfortunately, the new MacBook Pros seems to have a buggy video driver. We're having difficulty finding ways to work around the problems.

Is there anyway to download previous versions of Crossover? At least reverting back to 6.1 would allow people to play.

Does anyone have reports of whether the registry modification works or not? My buddy has a 2.4 MBP and is having this exact problem as well. He doesn't want to buy crossover until he knows it will work. Chicken and the egg thing.

I fortunately have a 2.33 MBP and everything works fine, except for a few minor graphics glitches.

I tried 'enable', 'enable_nvidia_gf7' and neither worked, having same effect as the default 'disable_nvdia_gf7' it hangs my macbookpro 2.4Ghz with nvidia card.

When exiting the station, there is a few seconds where it works, then it just hangs and I need to restart machine.

same here

Did you try "disable"?

Yes, from the My Downloads section of the My Account page: http://www.codeweavers.com/account/downloads/

"disable" seems to stabilize the whole thing a bit, but you cant see a thing, literally.
Most of the Interfaces Canvas isnt drawn, near to all textures are missing and just replaced with black space.
If you know EVE for quite some time and just use it to change your skills its an option, otherwise it isnt.

is it possible to have solution because I pay eve online for nothing ...

Unfortunately, the only solutions we can offer in the short term are to revert to CrossOver 6.1 or upgrade to Leopard.

It doesn't appear that upgrading to Leopard works either. I have Leopard and tried the regedit parameter above disable, disable_nvidia_gf7, and enable_nvidia_gf7. All three still crashed the macbookpro 2.4Ghz.

I've got leopard too and it doesn't work...

Hmm. Crap. We're investigating, but don't have any news, yet.

ah well the new CCP Mac client is available from eve-online.com and it seems to work very well.
