Hi,

I recently switched from PC to MAC and am trying to get EVE online running on my new mac book pro.

After downloading and installing the Mac client, I run it and the login screen comes up (so far so good), I can access all the options such as settings, etc, but cannot actually type anything in the 'username' and 'password' field. I can right click on them, and paste in them, but cannot actually type anything?

I though it might be the keyboard, but I can 'apple' 'q' to quite the game?

Any ideas? should I run it off windows?

Changes to improve compatibility with OSX 10.5 (Leopard):
Repaired Input-Method behavior.
Fixed a crash with certain non-US keyboards.
Fixed a small GUI error which appeared when creating new bottles for supported apps.
Fixed a potential hang-on-exit problem.
Made the preference setting "Enable keyboard modifiers for mouse buttons" take effect
Fixed transparent and incorrectly colored cursors.

If you're downloading the Mac client for EVE, then you aren't using CrossOver to run it. CrossOver would be helpful for running the Windows client on your Mac.

Unfortunately, though, recent changes to EVE Online have caused it to break with CrossOver 6.2.x. We have reason to believe that CrossOver 7.0 will fix the current problems when it comes out, although there's no guarantee that the EVE folks won't break something after that.
