Hiya.

I've been playing EVE online on crossover on my old iMac for a few days now. This afternoon I unboxed a fresh 2.8ghz Dual Core Extreme, 24" iMac and loaded crossover onto it and EVE.

For reasons I don't understand, when I play EVE on this computer, the Shield/Armour/Structure bars which are normally in red underneath target locked ships aren't there. The Overview window also has no background.

I've heard that this was an issue with Macbook Pros which was fixed by an Apple Update.

Is there any sign of it being fixed on the new iMacs? I was planning to pick up Crossover next week when my next paycheck clears but it'd still be nice to find out if this bug is being worked on or can be fixed easily on my end :)

New Mac models bring new GPUs and new OpenGL drivers. Often the new drivers have bugs, unfortunately. Also, sometimes the new GPUs support new features and those expose bugs in CrossOver. To be honest, I do not yet know what the issue with the new iMac might be.

We are expecting CrossOver 6.2 to be released very soon, and it contains some fixes for issues with EVE Online on the new MacBook Pros. There's a chance that it might help with the new iMac, too.
