I just downloaded Crossover 6.1.0 for a trial to see how Eve-Online runs with it.

I was able to successfully install EVE with the provided installer from crossover, however the latest patch fails with the following error:

Patching Error in file tut2.stuff. The specified file did not have the correct CRC.
This indicates that your installation is corrupt. Please reinstall EVE-Online.

I then tried downloading the latest client installer from the EVE website and I get the error "Error launching installer" and it simply quits the install.

I have tried multiple times with multiple downloads of the same files in case something had become corrupted, but nothing seems to work.

So basicly either way I am unable to install and play this game.

Any ideas?

I tried to apply the fix in the linked thread from the EVE forums but only encountered more problems. Could you post a more thorough explanation of how to apply this fix to EVE in Crossover?

I'm using crossover on a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo iMac 1GB RAM OS 10.4.10
