Hey guys. I have crossover 6.1 and I installed eve-online with it. I get to the character selection screen and click on the character and I start to enter the game. It gets to the loading station or entering station bit. With system name, station etc and the loading bar. The loading bar stops about half way and goes no further. Anyone able to help? All help appreciated. Thanks guys.
Mine does this once in a while when I minimize EVE's window during the character activation status bars? You tried different characters I assume to be sure it wasn't just a lagged out EVE node?
Only other suggestion I could think of is purge EVE's cache maybe.
On the EVE boards someone pointed out that you have to have EVE Voice (even a trial account) deactivated in the prefs.ini.
To do this go to your EVE folder in the bottle (for example via Manage Bottles->EVE bottle->Advanced->Open C: in Finder).
You can find the prefs.ini in the cache folder, open it and you should be able to edit the ini.
Look for 'voiceenabled', set it to '0' and save.
If this doesn't help, please post some information on your system and anything that might be special about your situation.
Hope disabling voice helps in the first place.
