I just grabbed a vanilla linux-2.6.34 tarball, compiled/installed and
now Eufloria seems to be working at gold medal standing. No doubt due
to the fact many linux distros use patched kernels, YMMV depending on
the exact kernel being used and/or whether Linus' patch is included or
not in that kernel.

Short form is -- it's in the linux kernel, not in wine -- update your
kernel and Eufloria should flower as it should.

I am running CXG 10.1.1 on OSX 10.6.8. When running Eufloria, I can play several levels with no issue, but at level 5 I cannot play at all without a debilitating lock-up at the start of the level. Any idea of how to fix this?

The newer versions of Eufloria (iirc, 2.04 or newer) are using parts
of .NET 2.0 SP2 which is unsupported in crossover at this time. Eufloria
versions prior to that release work fine (I've played through the whole
game a number of times). Ostensibly the gameplay remains the same in all
versions, we just can't make any use of the addons/embellishments that
the later versions have, until the needed .NET supported are added to
winecore.....

...I think the older versions are still around, but I guess if you
bought it on Steam, the latest version will be foisted upon you. If you
can't find an older version, I probably have a copy here - let me know..
