I think this application should be removed as Eudora does no longer exist

I absolutely disagree...I recently installed about ten newer email clients, and not one comes close to the functionality of my old Eudora. Thunderbird might be OK...except that it stores attachments INSIDE mailbox files, which makes synchronizing my home server with my work server with several laptops impossible. Anyone have a suggestion for a modern email client that stores attachments as separate files?

Until then I'll be using Eudora 7.1.0.9.

I agree Eudora is the better mail client, but it is no longer maintained, and the code is donated to Mozilla. That, and the way Eudora messed up HTML in received mail caches is really awfuyl. You used to be able to grep your way around mails, but no more.

oh, and the new open source eudora has a native linux client, so there is no point in running it inside WINE
