CrossOver is about running Windows Apps on MacOS and Linux. CrossOver does not run Mac apps on Linux or Windows. But why do you need anything special to run a Mac app in MacOS?
Reasons is that the game was made before the intel switch and does not work on intel macs natively or through scumm vm hence why my question i have windows on this machine but do not have the windows version of the game i was wondering if by any slim chance that the mac version may work. in any of these products as it means i have to buy an older machine to run the game.
You're right, you need a powerpc machine for this. CrossOver doesn't help you with running powerpc apps on intel macs - that's entirely different from running Windows apps. However, MacOS should have a PPC emulation to run older apps with somewhat slower performance.
