Enterprise Architect 8.x Forum

Hello everyone,

I want to make use of the SVN version control integration of Enterprise Architect 8 using CrossOver 9.
I found some references on svngate.exe leading me to an empty wiki page (http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/easvn).

Which is the best way to integrate my linux svn client to be used by EA? Or will it be better to install a svn client into the ea-bottle (as suggested for Mac users in http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=7441;forum=1;msg=91497)?

I tried a solution which is similar to the one in the "SVN-integration on the MAC" thread.

I executed the following steps (see https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=7441;forum=1;msg=91497):

1. Install a SVN client into the bottle with EA. (I used Slik SVN, which gets delivered in a msi-file. So I executed "C:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe" with the installer as argument.).
2. Open a Text editor to construct the command line
   <path_to_svn_exe> co <path_to_repository> <svn_path> --username <username> --password <password>
3. Save the file to checkout.bat.
4. Execute the checkout.bat inside the bottle in which Enterprise Architect is installed.
5. This should check out the respository and cache the creditionals that Enterprise Architect needs.
6. Configure EA to use the SVN repository.
