EA 15.1 with ssks:// license server

I downloaded a trial copy of CrossOver last week, installed CrossOver, and then installed EA 15.1 (current version in use at my employer). We use a SparxSystems Keystore server. I proceeded to install the shared key per Sparx instructions, designating the server for the shared keystore. EA provides a "test" button in the keystore configuration dialog: On pressing "test", EA informed me that it had connected successfully to the keystore. But proceeding from there, the EA "Add Registration Key" dialog tells me that no keys are available. That's nonsense - I can quit CrossOver, move to a Windows VM (VMWare Fusion) on another Mac, and setup and use EA in the same keystore configuration without an issue. Ditto on a native Windows box.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? I'm out of ideas (at least for the moment).

Thanks!
Mark
