EndNote 8: No search function

Hi,
I installed EndNote 8.0 with crossover 5.0.1-1_386.deb (ubuntu 5.10). The installation was flawlessly and I have an access to my EndNote-library. Thats good! But I have one problem: I am not able to use the search function, neither by using the search-command nor by just typing the author's name of reference.
Has anybody made some experiences with this problem and get an solution?
