EndNote 7.0 Forum

Hello,

After installing E& in the same bottle as Word2003, I can NEVER get Word to start - it just hangs. Then, if I "solve" the hang problem, the MACRO will never start. Any ideas?

Here are the specs:

1) Installed Word2003 & E7 on windows2000 bottle

2) Copied Endnote EN7Cwyw.WordXP.wll & EN7WYW.dot to the following directory "/home/user/.cxoffice/win2000/drive_c/windows/profiles/crossover/Application Data/Microsoft/Word/STARTUP"

3) Start either word, or e7 first and word just hangs.

4) Remove EN7Cwyw.WordXP.wll & EN7WYW.dot from STARTUP directory and put in AddInns directory. Word will start, and manually select endnote .dot and .wll files. But now I get error that says "MACRO CANNOT BE FOUND OR HAS BEEN DISABLED BECAUSE OF SECURITY SETTINGS" . My security is at low. Where is the MACRO?

This application (Endnote 7.0) does not work with Word2003 on a Windows2000 bottle with Crossover 6.0.
