Basic question: Do I have to install Endnote into the same bottle as WORD to have the macros (citations/cite as you write) work? I have Office 2003 installed on a Windows2000 bottle and Endnote 7 on a Windows98 bottle.
Thanks,
Andor

Yes. Two applications must be in the same bottle in order to interact directly. Applications in separate bottles can't interact except very indirectly (e.g. you can copy from one and paste into the other; you can save a file from one and open it with another; etc.).

Okay, thanks. Do you suggest I remove Endnote from the Windows98 bottle and then re-install it in the Windows2000 bottle? (I'm assuming Microsoft Office 2003 would run better the Windows2000 bottle as opposed to the Win98 bottle).
