EndNote 7.0 Forum

Hi all,

I am also running EndNote 7.0 (demo version) in my Debian system (kernel 2.4.22). Apparently it runs very well. I agree with Andrew about some windows background problems that I believe they are not a big deal.
I haven't tried all features but I found one little problem I don't know whether is only related to my video card. When I open a reference and select one to see the details (for instance, the abstract of the article) the window is a little bit flickery. Do you have the same trouble?
As I am running a demo version of EndNote 7, I don't have the acess to all manuscript templates for Word. It seems OK with the Nature template (the sample which comes with the demo version). Has anyone tried with another journal templates?

I too have the window flicking problem when viewing abstracts. I don't think it's a graphics card issue. I notice it on both the desktop and a laptop that I use. The flickering uses up a lot of CPU cycles but doesn't affect the function of endnote. Interestingly, I have the same flickering problem with one of my charts in Quicken2K. Might be a related issue.
