I installed Endnote 6 with Crossover 3.0.1 and Mandrake 10 Official. It works almost perfectly. Even the Word add-ins are automatically added and work.
A shortcut to start the programme needs to be added with a command such as
/home/w/cxoffice/bin/wine --check --cx-app "C://Program Files//Endnote//Endnote6.exe"
One can get the Endnote icon in the Crossover Windows Icon directory.
It is best to select the Endnote option for a certain library to be automatically opened on starting Endnote - there is some problem with the default Endnote starting screen. Only other slight problem is that linked references do not open automatically.
I use the same Windows Endnote library directory for my Endnote installations under Windows and Linux. In this way, the libraries are always up to date regardless of whether I have been working in Windows or Linux.
