Can't install efax messenger plus-- says it requires IE explorer 5.0 but I have 6.0 installed!

This question was previously asked under a ticket and no solution was ever given. I'm hoping someone has solved it.

I have MS IE 6.0 installed and running properly under Xover.
I try to install efax messenger plus and it tells me I need at least version 5.0 of MS IE.
I've tried in a Win98 bottle (no good since messenger requires XP or 2000), and under XP and 2000 bottles but none work.

Help!
