Installation from CrossTie proceeds well except failure to install FlashX ActiveX control.
I was able to install the Flash 9 ActiveX (but not Flash10) into the EasyWorship bottle later using the CrossOver Software Installer.
By default, the CrossTie installs EasyWorship so that it runs from a virtual desktop (a small window).
A much better experience, if you have two monitors, is to not use a virtual desktop.
- Set EasyWorship's options so that it does NOT display 'Live' by default.
** That can be done by a tickbox in EasyWorship's 'Advanced' options. - Then set CrossOver, via the winecfg in 'Manage Bottles', to not use a virtual desktop.
- Start EasyWorship. From EasyWorship's options the 'Live' display, either first or second monitor (I don't have a third), can be set.
- Go Live!
From GNOME it is possible to 'kill' the Live Display by pressing the 'Windows' key to get the window overview, and clicking the
little 'close' button at the top-right of the Live Display overview. This might confuse Crossover/WINE, however...
- This allowed me to view the EasyWorship control window when the 'Live' display was on the same screen. Unfortunately,
using 'Ctrl-Space' and 'Esc' did not switch me to the control window.
Transitions work, at least to some extent.
I have not tested video backgrounds.
Powerpoint Import, using Powerpoint Viewer, appears to work. However, lots of windows appear to be left behind
after displaying a powerpoint if I use GNOME's window overview function.
Was not able to access SongSelect, although other web-pages were visible via the Media tab.
Eventually EasyWorship appears to be at high risk of just stopping.
