Pressure sensitivity; windows tablet drivers?

Tablet pressure sensitivity isn't being recognized. I realize this is a common problem for people using Crossover -- that for some, pressure sensitivity works, and for some it doesn't.

I've tried installing the Windows drivers (in Crossover's Bottle), but the pen tablet preferences program won't open. There's an error that says that no Windows program is configured to open that type of file.

Is there any way to get this working or is it just a Crossover thing? :\

Exactly the same situation here, the issue extends to all graphic programs I've tried that normally make use of tablet pressure. I'm guessing the driver application for windows won't work since it's not a full windows installation, but rather crossover should somehow be able to read the input from the mac driver and just pass it on to the windows applications that it's running.

It's really sad that currently there is no way to get proper tablet support for any windows programs running on a mac short of Bootcamp.

At the moment both Parallels and VMware fusion have abysmal support for tablets, requiring the device to be locked inside the windows applications and not accessible to both the mac and windows side, which leads to a whole slew of annoying side effects, like mouse ghosting when using both the default mouse and the tablet.

Unfortunately lack of pressure support is a known issue with Apple's X11 implementation. That is what CrossOver uses so we get the side effect of no pressure support. I wish I had better news for you or a workaround, but everything I can find just says that people have been crying for pressure support in X11 for years and Apple has done nothing to fix it.
