I have had trouble with the most recent version of the software on both Ubuntu and Debian linux. However, this link to the older version of the software works fine.

I got this link directly from West. My problem with the new version was that while it would install, it would hang whenever it tried to open a transcript.

The "new" version is 20mb. This one is less than 2mb, but it is fully functional.

I could not find guidance anywhere in the internet for this issue, so I hope that this post helps anyone that is having problems.

I was able to get the newest Viewer to work. The problem is that the WinXP and Win2000 Bottles are using an older version of the msxml3.dll located in \windows\system32. I simply copy over a newer version of this dll. Here are some details...

The old dll has the size of 95,948 bytes.

The newer dll (that I pulled from a working Win2000 computer) has the size of 1,121,280 bytes. Its version number is 8.100.1048.0 and its description is MSXML 3.0 SP10. This file worked in both WinXP and Win2000 Bottles.
