e-swords modules open and install just fine with cxlinux 6.1

The key is to start with a fresh installation of cxlinux and make a default bottle choosing win98. Be sure to install Internet Explorer with Internet tools as it loads all of the dll files e-sword needs.

After installing IE with Internet tools, make sure DCOM98 is installed.

Lastly, install e-sword as you normally would. At the very end, you may see an error message about a dll file missing. Hit the RETRY button several times before choosing IGNORE. This seemed to help me when I did a fresh install.

Download a module and see what you've got. It worked for me and hopefully will for you.

One more thing: When installing modules do NOT choose "install windows software" from the cxlinux menu. Instead, simply click on the module in the location where you downloaded it and it should install the module in the default bottle containing e-sword.
