DVD Shrink cannot find either of my dvd drives

Hello,

I am at the end of my rope with trying to rip DVDs in Linux. I can't get dvdrip or lxdvdrip or acidrip to work. Now I installed DVD Shrink 3.2 with CX 5 and it can't find either of my dvd drives (/dve/hda is the burner, /dev/hdb is the reader). HELP!!! I do NOT want to go back to Winblows.

Which distribution of Linux are you using? Do they mount properly inside Linux as DVD drives with DMA on?
