DVDshrink opens ripped DVD's but not new ones

DVDShrink 3.2 opens already ripped DVD's but refuses to open (original) DVD's for ripping with this error message:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "D:\"
Invalid function

Drives seem to be mapped ok, and disc is mounted correctly.

I'am using OpenSuSE 10 and cxoffice 4.2

Any ideas?
