HI - This works fine in all my testing, I have used it for a long time on MS Platform - it really is a excellent program.

I am using it on
Mandrake 10 Official
Kernel 2.6-13
Acer TRavelamte 290 Laptop

It really does answer the problems of DVD authoring in LInux.

NOw just need to find a app to convert AVI -- DVD.

Hi Lance,

did you try Avidemux (http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/)? Works perfectly for me.

Try transcode....yes...I know...it's a command terminal app....but it works great with the following command.

example (NTSC):

transcode -i "filename.avi" -y ffmpeg --export_prof dvd-ntsc --export_asr 2 -o "movirname" -D0 -E 48000 -b 224 -s2 -m "moviename.ac3" -J modfps --export_fps 29.97

and mjpegtools to put it together if you want with this:

mplex -f 8 -o "moviename.mpg" "moviename.m2v" "moviename.ac3"

All without the quotes of course.
