I tried to install it with a WinXP bottle as well as Win2000 bottle. I can hear the music and I see two DOSBox windows but I can't play the game. Any suggestions?

It is possible that you may have success following the guide at http://www.spam-filter.de/osx/eduke32_on_os_x to install Duke Nukem 3D on your mac. Even though you do not have a CD, you should be able to copy the relevant data files as described in the guide. I hope this is helpful to you.
Edit: I personally have had great success with these files, but I should state that I am a volunteer advocate, and Codeweavers makes no statements regarding the safety of these files.
