Dreamweaver MX (6.0) Forum

so im an intern at a publishing company and ive been assigned to redesign the website...yeah i know. ive never used dreamweaver cs3 before but ive been watching lynda.com videos and sort of figuring things out.

PROBLEM:
1.the catalog of books needs to be searchable so customers can type in a title or author or piece of title etc and be given all the books that match their search.

2. clicking on the book of their choice that shows up in the search needs to link to the page designated for that book
3. they also need to be able to scroll through the list of books in any order they choose (alphabetical by title, by author, by publication date)
4. i need to make the page as a template first so the interns responsible for adding the actual content to the website aren't starting from scratch (which on the other pages is a template with repeating regions...can i do this for each book so as we add new ones to the catalog it is immediately searchable/organizable etc?)

PLEASE HELP...oh and i have no idea how to work with code...so unless you can spell out every single step please tell me what buttons to push. thanks!
