Dreamweaver 8 Forum

Using Dreamweaver 8 and everytime a format text it creates a style sheet. I end up with gobs of style sheets in my code that i dont need! I am not a code person. can someone tell me how i can get DW not to do this? I recently had an seo person clean up my code and edit content. I put her files up w FTP software. There is some slop in the design left from her and I do updates to the site anyway so now I have to figure out how I can put it in and use it in DW without it rendering all the extra code.

Secondly, the behavior you are describing is normal and is welcome! Now days, no web developer sets his styles directly in HTML but using css styles. This is the way to do it right. But again you should get all the help you need on Adobe forums.
